Playtime!

Well it's Scrapbook Saturday at My Cricut Craft Room.  Don't forget to go check out what other layouts were created for today!
Today I decided to do a layout with a scene of kids playing at the park!  I have soooo many pictures of my kids on the slides, swimgs, jungle gyms, etc.  I figured I better make a layout to get some of these pictures in their albums!
I used a few cartridges for this layout!
Create a Critter
Playtime Lite
Locker Talk
Just a Note
Paper Dolls for Everyday
My Community

The title was cut from the Cricut Lite cartridge Playtime at 2.5 inches!  The clouds came from the Paper Dolls for Everyday cartridge!  I love this cartridge!  Can use it for everything!  I cut the clouds at 3 and 3.62 inches!

The Sun was cut at 3 inches from the cartridge Create a Critter! Such a cute cartridge although I haven't really used it much yet!

The adorable slide and Swing Set is from the Locker Talk cartridge!  The slide is 3.5 inches and the swing set 4.15 inches!

All the kids are from the Playtime Lite cartridge!  All are cut at 3 inches!  I used my Gypsy to hide the face cutouts and just used Peachy Keen Stamps instead!

To make the grass, I used the Paper Dolls for Everyday cartridge.  I then cut the grass in places and just used pop-dots to add some dimension!
For this kite I used the Just A Note cartridge that came exclusively with my E2 anniversary edition machine!  It is such a cute cartridge and has so many great images on it!  I just wish they could link it to the gypsy already!

Well that's my layout! I hope you enjoy it! I'm also entering it into the Cricut Circle Monthly challenge! This month's challenge was to create a scene! I think my playground fits perfectly!

Vacation Time

I recently joined the cricut circle and am so excited to be able to share my layouts with others and check out all the gorgeous designs the circlets create!  It really is an amazing group of people!  This week on the circle blog the weekly challenge is to scrap vacation photos!  I decided to create a layout for my son's first airplane ride this year!  He was so excited watching all the planes while we waited to get on ours! Thankfully he was also excited on the plane and was a great traveler!
I used the 'Pack your bags' and 'A Child's year' cartridges for this layout.
It is a very simple layout, but I really just wanted to showcase the photos this time!

My Cricut Craft Room Theme Day Thursday - Baking

Today is Theme Day Thursday on My Cricut Craft Room!  With today's theme being baking!  My daughter loves to help my mother (or Maymay as she is known!) bake pies!  I have tons of pictures of them doing this so this is a perfect day for me to create a layout for this!

I used 3 cricut cartridges for this layout:
From My Kitchen
Country Life
Nate's ABCs

This adorable pie and roller is from the Country Life cartridge.  I cut all the layers at 4 inches.  I love the steam coming out of the pie!
I also cut the apples from the Country Life cartridge at 2inches.

This cute apron is cut out of the 'From my kitchen' cartridge at 4 inches.  I also cut the oven mitt from this cartridge at 3 incehs.

The title is from 'Nate's ABCs' cartridge at 1.15 inches.
I cut all the surrounding words out of 'From my Kitchen' cartridge.

Well that is my layout for today's theme day!  Make sure you go check out all the other great projects over at My Cricut Craft Room.  Thanks for looking! Enjoy your day!

My Cricut Craft Room August 100 Cart Blog Hop

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's August 100 Cart Blog Hop!  You should have come from Heather's Blog if not, you can start back at the beginning at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

For this Blog hop I decided to make a 'Let's Go to the Movies' layout!
My kids have just recently gone to their first movie in a theater and I thought this would be cute to scrap the pictures from that.  Or even it could be used for a movie night at home pictures.  All paper again was just found in my stash at home.  I'm really making an effort to use what I have before I buy more.  Or at least look through what I have before I go and buy what I need!!

I used 5 different Cricut carts in this layout:  County Fair, Mickey & Friends, Mickey Font, Phrases, Once Upon a Princess

This adorable popcorn box and layers were cut from the County Fair cartridge at 5.5 inches.  This was very easy to layer together and really cute.  I just love popcorn so once I saw this image on this cart I had to have it!!!  I even cut extra popcorn for the second page!

The ticket and all layers were also cut from County Fair at 2.5 inches.  Again very simple to layer.   I'm hoping all the other images on this cartridge are just as easy to use!

The film strips were found on the Mickey & Friends cartridge!  I thought these would be great to put pictures in or even to journal in!  They were cut at 4.5 inches.

The title, 'Let's all go to the movies' was from Once Upon a Princess cartridge at 1 inch and welded together each word on my gypsy! Love the Gypsy so much! It really makes designing layouts so much easier!

I cut the stars out from the Phrases cartridge at 2 inches.  Then I used the cartridge Mickey Font to cut out the word 'Enjoy' at .22 inches.  I then put this onto the popcorn box!!!

Hope you enjoyed my layout!

Theme Day Thursday - Beach

Well today is theme day Thursday on My Cricut Craft Room, and today's theme is beach!  My family took a vacation to Florida this past spring, so I have plenty of beach pictures that need to be scrapped!  So I decided to create a two page family vacation layout!

I used the cricut carts 'Pack Your Bags' and 'Create a Critter' for this layout!  All of the paper was paper I already had in my stash so I do not know any brands.

This adorable crab was cut from 'Create a Critter' at 1.5 inches.  That cart has so many great creatures on it! I love it!
All the other cuts are from 'Pack Your Bags'
The beach ball is cut at 2 inches

This cute family of four was cut at 6 inches!
Luckily for me this matches my family with a little girl and boy!

The sandcastle, pail, and shovel was cut at 3.5 inches.
Other cuts include the flipFlops and sunglasses at 1.5 inches, the Sun at 3 inches, and Family Vacation sign at 2.5 inches.

Well that is my project for theme day thursday!  Go check out the other creations that the design team created at My Cricut Craft Room
