Theme Day Thursday - Beach

Well today is theme day Thursday on My Cricut Craft Room, and today's theme is beach!  My family took a vacation to Florida this past spring, so I have plenty of beach pictures that need to be scrapped!  So I decided to create a two page family vacation layout!

I used the cricut carts 'Pack Your Bags' and 'Create a Critter' for this layout!  All of the paper was paper I already had in my stash so I do not know any brands.

This adorable crab was cut from 'Create a Critter' at 1.5 inches.  That cart has so many great creatures on it! I love it!
All the other cuts are from 'Pack Your Bags'
The beach ball is cut at 2 inches

This cute family of four was cut at 6 inches!
Luckily for me this matches my family with a little girl and boy!

The sandcastle, pail, and shovel was cut at 3.5 inches.
Other cuts include the flipFlops and sunglasses at 1.5 inches, the Sun at 3 inches, and Family Vacation sign at 2.5 inches.

Well that is my project for theme day thursday!  Go check out the other creations that the design team created at My Cricut Craft Room

  3. Thanks for the comments! The background is actually a combination of 3 different papers. The top on each side is a piece of paper that had clouds and sky in it. I just cut it to be like 4 inches. the middle section was just a 12x12 piece of paper with a water pattern on it.
I also cut that and put it under the sky paper. I then found a piece of 12x12 sand paper that I had and cut it in half and then with a scissors just randomly cut it across the top and placed that layer on top of the water paper. Hope that makes sense! I've had this paper to use for at least 1 to 2 years and finally had the perfect layout idea for it!
Oh and The pack your bags cartridge is really good! Lots of fun vacation cuts!!! Enjoy!
